Remarks
Atracurium is a hypotonic solution and must not be administered into the infusion line of a blood transfusion
Atracurium has acid pH, thus should not be mixed with alkaline solutions (e.g.: barbiturate solutions)
When injecting a small vein, it is important to flush with saline before and after
Do not use lactated Ringer’s Solution because of increased risk of spontaneous degradation
