Not for subcutaneous use (Promethazine is a chemical irritant) Drug may form precipitate with Heparin, flush heparinised infusion set with sterile WFI or NS solution before and after administration IV administration is not the preferred route; severe tissue damage may occur. Ensure proper needle or catheter placement prior to and during administration.
