IV infusion

1st infusion: administer at a rate of 50 mg/hr, can be escalated in 50 mg/hr increments every 30 min (max: 400 mg/hr) Subsequent infusions: administer at a rate of 100 mg/hr, can be escalated in 100 mg/hr increments every 30 min (max: 400 mg/hr)

Remarks

Administer premedication (consisting of an analgesic/antipyretic (e.g: Paracetamol) and antihistamine drug (e.g: Diphenyhydramine), 30 minutes prior to each Rituximab infusion Premedication with glucocorticoids should be also considered particularly if Rituximab is not given in combination with steroid containing chemotherapy Do not administer as IV push or bolus Gently invert the bag to mix the solution. Do not shake.
