Remarks

May not be compatible with alkaline solutions having pH greater than 8.5

Compatible with saline solutions containing morphine, fentanyl and clonidine

Use adequate test dose (3 – 5 ml) of short-acting local anaesthetic solution containing epinephrine prior induction of complete nerve block

Avoid rapid injection of a large volume of local anaesthetic solution
