Oral hyperglycemic agent should be avoided in esrd patients
Insulin requirement is reduced 25% at GFR 10-50 ml/min
Insulin requirement is reduced 50% at GFR <10 ml/min
target HbA1c 7.5- 8
target fasting blood sugar 100 to 140mg/dl
