Composition

Each tablet contains: calcium salts of puri­
fied senna extract equivalent to 12 mg of
sennosides.

Indications

Atonic constipation; whether habitual or post-operative, due to neurological disor­ders or during puerperium. Bowel evacua­tion prior to radiological examination.

Contraindications

Spastic constipation, intestinal obstruction, abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting.
Patients having disturbances in electrolyte balance.

Precautions

Not to be taken during pregnancy unless under supervision of the physician.
Avoid its use as a regular daily habit; to be used only when needed.

Dosage and Administration

Adults: 2-4 tablets to be taken at bedtime, not exceeding 6 tablets daily.
Children over 6 years: 1-2 tablets, depending on age, to be given at bedtime, or as directed by the physician.
