๐Ÿ“‹ KDIGO AKI Criteria

Stage acute kidney injury based on serum creatinine changes and urine output

๐Ÿ“‹ Diagnosis: AKI is diagnosed if any ONE of:
โ‘  Serum creatinine โ†‘ โ‰ฅ 0.3 mg/dL within 48h
โ‘ก Serum creatinine โ†‘ โ‰ฅ 1.5ร— baseline within 7 days
โ‘ข Urine output < 0.5 mL/kg/h for โ‰ฅ 6h

๐Ÿ‘ค Patient Information
kg
Required for urine output calculation.
๐Ÿงช Serum Creatinine
mg/dL
Known or presumed baseline creatinine within the last 7 days.
mg/dL
Most recent serum creatinine value.
For diagnosis criteria: โ‰ฅ 1.5ร— baseline within 7 days, OR โ‰ฅ 0.3 mg/dL within 48h.
๐Ÿ’ง Urine Output
mL
Total urine output over the specified time period.
Time period over which urine output was measured.
โš•๏ธ Renal Replacement Therapy
If checked, automatically qualifies as Stage 3 AKI.
If checked, eGFR < 35 mL/min/1.73mยฒ qualifies as Stage 3.
โš ๏ธ Risk Factors (Optional)
๐Ÿ“– KDIGO 2012 AKI Criteria:
Diagnosis: โ†‘ Creatinine โ‰ฅ 0.3 mg/dL within 48h OR โ‰ฅ 1.5ร— baseline within 7 days OR UO < 0.5 mL/kg/h for โ‰ฅ 6h.
Staging: Based on the more severe of creatinine OR urine output criteria.
Stage 3: โ‰ฅ 3ร— baseline OR โ‰ฅ 4.0 mg/dL OR RRT OR (pediatric) eGFR < 35 mL/min/1.73mยฒ.
