pulmonary edema:
main manifestation: severe dyspnea with dry cough, Intense sweating, irritable, severe hypertension
basic treatment in emergency room till dialysis begins:
o2 therapy in high concentration
Lasix high dose iv to decrease the pulmonary edema, even if the patient have anurea
morphine to promote pt relaxation and enhance pulmonary ventilation
do not give anti hypertensive drugs, this to avoid pt hypotension when dialysis started
main treatment is by fluid removal by dialysis, it is good idea to use UF profile or set high UFR
pt should improve within 2 hrs
