Composition
Enteric-coated tablets containing Aspirin 81 mg or 300 mg or 500 mg.
Also PLAIN tablets 300 mg.
indications
To relieve mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache, and menstrual cramps and to reduce fever in common cold and influenza.
To alleviate soft tissue inflammatory pain including myalgia, musculoskeletal pain, and athletic injuries. For the symptomatic relief of acute and chronic rheumatic arthritis, juvenile arthritis, osteoarthritis and related rheumatic diseases. As a platelet aggregation inhibitor to reduce the risk of myocardial infarction and transient ischemic attacks especially in men.
Dosage and Administration
As Analgesic. Antipyretic, Anti-inflammatory: 2-3 tablets (300 mg) or 1 -2 tablets (500mg) three Io four times daily is recommended, with a maximum of 4 g daily.
As platelet aggregation inhibitor: 81-300 mg a day. For reducing the risk of recurrent transient ischemic attacks or stroke in men, a dose of 1200 mg a day is recommended, in 2 or 4 equally divided doses.
