    OTHER INFORMATION <\/H4>In moderately impaired renal function (GFR=30\u201360 mL\/min) AUC is increased by 85% and clearance decreased by 52%; therefore, monitor patient closely .Anecdotal evidence suggests that moxonidine can be used safely at standard doses in patients with all degrees of renal impairment
    One paper suggests that moxonidine can be used in patients with severe renal failure, at a dose of 300 mcg daily.
