{"id":4349,"date":"2025-03-31T18:12:05","date_gmt":"2025-03-31T18:12:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kidneydiseaseclinic.net\/kdc\/slipped-disc-txt\/"},"modified":"2025-03-31T18:12:05","modified_gmt":"2025-03-31T18:12:05","slug":"slipped-disc-txt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kidneydiseaseclinic.net\/kdc\/slipped-disc-txt\/","title":{"rendered":"SLIPPED DISC.txt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Known medically as a herniated disc, a slipped disc is when one of the soft discs that separate the vertebrae becomes damaged and the disc\u2019s core protrudes. <br \/>The protruding core may press on a spinal nerve, causing pain and other symptoms. <br \/>Most commonly, the lower back is affected, causing sciatica\u2014pain, numbness, or tingling along the back of the leg. <br \/>A herniated disc in the neck may cause neck pain, and weakness in the arm and hand. <br \/>Symptoms usually improve on their own but may be relieved with pain relievers and physical therapy.
