{"id":4231,"date":"2025-03-31T18:12:01","date_gmt":"2025-03-31T18:12:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kidneydiseaseclinic.net\/kdc\/pain-syndrome-txt\/"},"modified":"2025-03-31T18:12:01","modified_gmt":"2025-03-31T18:12:01","slug":"pain-syndrome-txt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kidneydiseaseclinic.net\/kdc\/pain-syndrome-txt\/","title":{"rendered":"PAIN SYNDROME.txt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Formerly known by various names, including causalgia and reflex sympathetic dystrophy, complex regional pain syndrome is a condition in which there is long-lasting pain, usually in an arm or leg, but sometimes affecting other areas of the body as well. <br \/> It is most often triggered by an injury, but the pain is more severe and long-lasting than would be expected from the severity of the injury. <br \/> The skin over the painful area may be red and tender, or blue, cold, and clammy.<br \/>  It may be so sensitive that even a light touch may provoke intense pain.  <br \/> Complex regional pain syndrome may develop after either a minor or more serious injury, including fractures, sprains or strains, burns, or cuts.
