{"id":3622,"date":"2025-03-31T18:11:45","date_gmt":"2025-03-31T18:11:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kidneydiseaseclinic.net\/kdc\/abnormal-spinal-curvatures-txt\/"},"modified":"2025-03-31T18:11:45","modified_gmt":"2025-03-31T18:11:45","slug":"abnormal-spinal-curvatures-txt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kidneydiseaseclinic.net\/kdc\/abnormal-spinal-curvatures-txt\/","title":{"rendered":"ABNORMAL SPINAL CURVATURES.txt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In kyphosis, there is excessive outward curvature of the spine in the chest area, sometimes causing back pain. <br \/> Kyphosis is common in children and usually corrects itself as the child grows.  <br \/> In adults, kyphosis is typically due to poor posture, weakening of the vertebrae usually caused by osteoporosis , or obesity.  <br \/> In scoliosis, the spine is curved to the left or right, most commonly in the chest area or lower back region.  <br \/> It may cause leaning to one side and sometimes back pain. <br \/>  Scoliosis usually starts in childhood or adolescence and tends to become progressively worse until growth stops. Treatment is similar for all types of spinal curvature.  <br \/> Mild cases can often be treated with pain relievers and physical therapy.
