Rarely, the infection may also be passed from a pregnant woman to her baby. <br \/>Often, there are no symptoms. If symptoms do occur, in women they may include a profuse, yellowish-green, foul-smelling vaginal discharge; painful inflammation of the vagina ,vaginitis ; and painful urination.
