This causes inflammation, resulting in pain and tenderness. In tennis elbow, the tendon on the outer side of the elbow is affected. Golfer\u2019s elbow affects the tendon on the inner side.  <br \/> Both conditions are caused by repeated twisting movements of the forearm.
