{"id":3134,"date":"2023-06-26T09:42:40","date_gmt":"2023-06-26T09:42:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kidneydiseaseclinic.net\/kdc\/acoustic-neuroma\/"},"modified":"2023-06-26T09:42:40","modified_gmt":"2023-06-26T09:42:40","slug":"acoustic-neuroma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kidneydiseaseclinic.net\/kdc\/acoustic-neuroma\/","title":{"rendered":"ACOUSTIC NEUROMA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An acoustic neuroma is a noncancerous tumor of the acoustic nerve (also called the vestibulocochlear nerve), which carries balance and auditory signals from the ear to the brain.  <br \/> Usually, only the nerve of one ear is affected.  <br \/> In most cases, the cause is unknown, although a minority are due to the genetic condition neurofibromatosis, in which multiple tumors grow on nerves.
