Composition
Each tablet contains: Glibenclamide 5 mg.
Also MINI-GLYNASE: 2.5 mg Glibenclamide per tablet.
Indications
Non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus whenever dietary treatment alone proves inadequate.
Contraindications
Insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus, diabetic coma, severe metabolic decompensation (e.g. ketoacidosis), severe renal or hepatic impaired function, pregnancy.
Precautions
Caution in febrile patients and serious impairment of thyroid, adrenal function. (Further information in leaflet).

Dosage and Administration
No fixed regimen.
Usually
Starting Dose: 2.5 mg (1 mini-Glynase tablet or 7? Glynase tablet) at breakfast.
Maintenance Dose: 1.25 mg – 20 mg daily, not exceeding a daily dose of 20 mg; four
Glynase tablets or eight mini-Glynase tablets.
Dosage Interval: once daily for up to 10mg daily, twice daily usually for more than 10 mg daily.
